Scientific Competence Profiles for External Presentation

New scientific insights get around very quick. Yet firstly they circulate among experts. Yet edited information are of growing interest for the public and they are indispensable for external presentation. But how - for example - do patients get, apart from their own networks, information about the right expert for their disease? How is it possible for young colleagues to inform themselves quickly and efficiently about the research profile of their to-be employer?
But also on the inside it is hardly possible to transport the vivid dynamic of scientific activities across departments on the existing information channels. In this process interdisciplinary cooperation, ideas and the formation of new and multidisciplinary projects for modern research are indispensable.

SyynX Research Profiling builds bridges between the inside and the outside. Fingerprint based expertise profiles detect systematically the research competences of an organization and keep them always up-to-date. It is you, who decides what is communicated inside and outside. The transparency can be scaled due to the request of the target group. Whilst - for example - a high degree of transparency within a team is preferred, it is possible to reduce - for the profiles of other employees - certain data of profile details. Moreover it is possible to alter these accessible details for external presentation in the Internet. Next to the presentation of individual expert profiles you can also present whole departments.

The access possibilities of SyynX Research Profiles can be configured in many different ways. Whilst colleagues are looking closer on the expertise profiles of certain experts, patients are more interested in thematically organized research possibilities. The user can either navigate alphabetically or systematically via the terms to reach adequate profiles.
An integral module of SyynX Research Profiles is a local research database. The individual scientist - for example - publishes a new text and releases the publication via a few clicks for SyynX Research Profile, which updates automatically after this.

SyynX Knowledge Repository is the central module of SyynX Research Profiles. Imbedded in your accustomed user interface you can gather locally the scientific output of an organization: PubMed publications, internal documents, contact information, congress- or book articles, etc.
